At SIMAVI, we are excited to announce the start of MARCONNECT project, together with a powerful consortium of 12 partners from 8 countries, representing industry, research, and public authorities.
Over the next three years, MARCONNECT will deliver innovative, data-driven tools designed to boost security, operational efficiency, and cross-border cooperation in the maritime sector.
The project will lay the groundwork for a connected European maritime ecosystem that:
- unlocks smarter use of data,
- enables new value-added services for maritime stakeholders, and
- equips authorities and operators with modern digital capabilities.
The mission is straightforward: better data, better decisions, safer seas.
Software Imagination & Vision (SIMAVI), the Project Coordinator, was the host of the kick off event on the 5th of December 2025. SIMAVI will lead the consortium and the project activities, to successfully accomplish the project objectives and Key Performance Indicators, while INNOV, as Technical Coordinator, will shape the technical vision of the project.
SIMAVI will also contribute to services dedicated to Border Guards, to advance border security operations and to support robust cross-border law enforcement collaboration.
