On the 6th of September, the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth has signed the contract for the provision, implementation, maintenance and operation of an Integrated School Management System and peripheral systems with the best contractors in the field of eLearning in the world, including the Romanian company Software Imagination & Vision (SIMAVI).
The overall objective of the contract is to acquire an integrated national school management system that will include the management of schools, of the teaching personnel, of the students and supporting administrative processes of the Cypriot education system.
This includes the delivery of IT and network equipment, system software, a software application and the provision of licenses required for the operation of the system. Also, the provision of maintenance services and the operation as a service of the Integrated School Management System and peripheral systems for 5 years, plus an additional 5 year period.
SIMAVI will provide the School Management System, a portal, the Document Management System (DMS), and the Business intelligence (BI) solution.
The Integrate School Management System and peripheral systems solution to be provided for the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth are expected to generate the following results:

Software Imagination & Vision will develop the system software and the software application, which include programs, business applications, databases, user and operating manuals. The Romanian software company will provide the School Management System, a portal, the Document Management System (DMS), and a Business intelligence (BI) solution.
