Oradea, 28 November 2023 – The conference “Digital Transformation of Organizations: Informatization Solutions and Funding Opportunities” concluded successfully in Oradea at the end of November. Organized by the National Union of Employers of Romania (UNPR) in collaboration with the Bihor County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Software Imagination & Vision (SIMAVI), with contributions from INTERLOG, the event attracted numerous participants from both the public and private sectors.

The conference brought together IT managers and executives from local companies, directors of public institutions, and representatives from local administrations. The SIMAVI team, a leading provider of informatization solutions, joined forces with INTERLOG specialists, who have extensive experience in consulting for non-reimbursable funded projects, to address key challenges in the implementation of digital transformation projects.

The digital transformation process is not without its hurdles, including resistance and skepticism. However, as Romanians increasingly embrace digital solutions, the public sector must accelerate its adoption of technologies that streamline bureaucratic processes and reduce waiting times for citizens.

From Physical Files to Digital Systems

During the conference, SIMAVI representatives showcased their products and demonstrated how institutions can interconnect systems, thereby eliminating the need for citizens to visit multiple agencies to resolve a single issue. The virtual assistant and remote tax payment are already becoming standard practices in a rapidly digitizing world. Additionally, electronic document archiving and the use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions significantly enhance organizational efficiency, whether in public or private sectors.

SIMAVI has been developing and implementing IT solutions across various domains for over three decades. Recently, the company launched the newest Romanian ERP system, fully tailored to the country’s economic and legal environment. The integrated SVAP2025 system promises to save over 90% of time in addressing financial, administrative, and human resource management requirements.

Conference attendees were also keen to explore available funding opportunities for acquiring informatization solutions and the potential for successful collaboration with consultants on EU-funded projects.
